    You could check that the configuration file z8530drv.conf haven't
    strange characters, nor <CR>'s, that can happen if you transfer it
    from a windows machine. I got mad some time when sccinit didn't found
    the card, (nor complained at all, just did nothing) when all seemed
    (and was) perfectly configurated.
