Hi all and thanks for your responses. Tommi , Richard , Paul and others.
I mean't to send the replies posted to Linux-hams but I think some went
direct.
Tommi many thanks for looking into the axwrapper and the file has arrived
here safely. As a newcomer to Linux I will have to tread with caution but I
will do my best with the file you sent and report back the success.
Richard , suggest holding fire for the moment until I have attacked the
above. Yes you are correct the remote sysop/user would connect via ax25.
Paul thanks your input but you didn't end up with a solution. As I said
above to Tommi I am new to Linux so it holds many mysteries for me.
Andrew UA1CM many thanks to you for your idea's too. I think I have azwNode
but I would have possibly the same problems isolating the current system.
Trimming the makefile accordingly could work possibly to give me pms but I
am unskilled at that also Hi!
However with all these answers I must say many thanks to all of you.
