    Hi and thanks for reading thi mail.

    I've configured my system (RH 6.2 - Kernel 2.4.2) to use soundmodem with CS46xx audio-codec, but
    when i want incoming a connection i've the following error:

    sm[876]: ioctl: SNDCTL_DSP_SYNC: Device busy (16)
     
    and, obviously, no sound comes out from my computer (i only hear a weak noise very similar to
    "pop-corn" noise). Audio works well on my computer (i can play mp3's ..... ;-)

    Has anyone the answer???
