Hi all,
Thanks to Robert and Paul for some ideas. I was in fact doing
something like that in the early stages of setting it up but seem to have
fouled it all up by trying to be clever with bashrc. The idea being to set
an alias for shutdown or reboot which included
a dual command semicolon delimited to nodesave then shutdown. Somewhere it
fouled up so back to the drawing board with your helpful suggestions.
Roberts question about # nodes prompts me to ask one. With a nodes table in
place , trying to call <port> <#node alias> produces a syntax error and I
have to resort to using the callsign (with ssid) as in "call <port>
<aliascallsign> as the call program doesn't seem to like (or misenterprets)
the # sign. A minor detail this bit but one I was suprised at. Is this
generally recognised ?
