Hi all,
Can anyone help with a bpqether problem ?
AX25 is compiled into kernel and is working
ax25 port 'ether' is configured. It sends data to my dos bpq node system and
it also broadcasts nodes broadcasts to the dos bpq system over ethernet and
the Linux node
is established in the dos bpq nodes table as a result.
The problem is that bpqether does NOT receive anything from the dos bpq
system even though it is sent. Therefore I cannot make a connection from
Linux-ax25 to dos-bpq using ethernet. The solution is a must since I run a
dx cluster and this Linux box has to be controlled by a bpq work station
situated in the house if it is to replace the old dos bpq system. (Shack is
in garden). I cannot change all the bpq workstations for tcpip as they are
all older machines and the cost would be too great. The ether card in the
Linux machine is an NE2000 compatible PCI card (not ISA). All the cards in
the current dos bpq network are all NE2000 compatible ISA cards and THAT
system works just great (But not BPQether).
Can anyone throw any light on this urgent problem please as it is holding up
experiments with DX Spider ?
