Thanks for reading this.
I am experimenting with RXECHO, a gizmo that repeats on one ax25 interface
certain packets heard on another ax25 interface.
It works perfectly, as far as I can tell.
However, when doing it's business, it throws up warning messages.
From /var/log/syslog:
Mar 28 22:26:53 localhost rxecho[1262]: starting
Mar 28 22:28:24 localhost kernel: NET: 9 messages suppressed.
Mar 28 22:28:24 localhost kernel: protocol f9d8 is buggy, dev bcp0
Mar 28 22:28:34 localhost last message repeated 9 times
The NET message shows up on all logged-in console screens.
There is probably a way to disable it. But I would rather know what causes
it.
Incidentally, I get the same error message on bcsf0 (BayCom serial modem
interface).
If RXECHO transmits on a particular interface, than *that* interface is the
one mentioned in syslog.
tools 0.0.6
apps 0.0.4
libax25 0.0.7
rxecho 0.0.6
kernel 2.2.17
Any pointers appreciated.
