On ftp.slackware.com (or same host, ftp.freesoftware.com) you will find
all versions of Slackware as of version 3.3

Slackware 4.0 was the last libc5 based version of Slackware. You can
probably install and run
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-4.0/slakware/a9/sysklogd.tgz
If it doesn't work, try packages from older releases.
