    At a guess i would say no, please note its a guess, i base this on the fact you
    do not have glibc installed.

    Here is a list of libs used by sendmail installed on a slackware 7.1 system.

    pa3gcu@unix:~$ ldd /usr/sbin/sendmail
            libdb.so.3 => /lib/libdb.so.3 (0x4001a000)
            libresolv.so.2 => /lib/libresolv.so.2 (0x40054000)
            libcrypt.so.1 => /lib/libcrypt.so.1 (0x40062000)
            libnsl.so.1 => /lib/libnsl.so.1 (0x4008f000)
            libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x400a4000)
            libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x400a7000)
            /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x40000000)

    I belive the version is 8.10.2

    Of course i could be wrong.
