    Hi All

This one is puzzling me, Can anyone offer a reason or suggest a
    solution.

Sending 21 byte pings to any of my server interfaces, LAN or radio
ports. Or to remote radio hosts do not respond

20 and 22 byte pings respond as expected. There are other values that
    also fail to respond

    eg

    ping -i 10 -c 20 -s 21 [ipaddress] do not respond

    ping -i 10 -c 20 -s 20 [ipaddress] responds
    ping -i 10 -c 20 -s 22 [ipaddress] responds

Have been puzzled this by months and manually gone through the linux
archives and can not see this mentioned before

Have updated the software again (compiled net and ax25/tools/node radio
code against kernel) in an attempt to solve this one

    Slakware 7.0
    Kernel 2.2.18
    ax25-tools-0.0.6
    ax25-apps-0.0.4
    libax25-0.0.7
    node-0.3.0
    http-1.22
    xd7.03b
    net-tools-1.59
    axconv 1.3
    ffbW version 1.12
