If you are primarily interested in attaching a KISSed TNC2 clone
to your linux kernel for AX.25 protocol,
maybe my link will help.
I have yet to try 'node' as, so far, linux AX.25 implementation
seems wholly interested in implementing the AX.25 interface as a
network device, rather than as an AX.25 ((radio)modem) interface.
