Somethings does seem funny there, remember i make my comments for a 2.2.xx
kernel. I have not tryed to compile any ax25 stuff in 2.4 let alone use ax25 in
2.4.

I suppose there is no problem where you install the apps and tools, providing
provisstions are made so that every program knows where to look for its .conf
file.
