Attempting to download Wampes

    I have been experiencing difficulty in downloading Wampes from

    http://www.crosswinds.net/~deyke/wampes-000304.tar.gz

    The download always terminates early. I've tried Netscape, Lynx,
    and Konqueror.

    ftp attempts to www.crosswinds.net fail and ftp.crosswinds.net
    does not accept anonymous connections.

    Does anyone know of an alternate site from which to obtain
    Wampes?

    Or, since my goal is to run a convers server, is there a better
    package for this purpose than Wampes?
