    The first thing if you haven't already is to make sure that 'escape' is
    turned off for PY2XB in node.perms.

    If that is ok then try watching what is going on (using "listen -a -p
    <axipport>" or whatever) with the connection. Pay attention to which side
    initiates the disconnect and what is sent (to either direction)
    immediately before the disconnect.
