I'm not sure ppuser comes with 2.2.18 (well, I didn't find a ppuser.c
lying around, at any rate) - so that's probably it.
/proc/parport0/ and /proc/parport1 say pretty much what I'd expect them
to - 'hardware' states that everything is set the way it's supposed to
be (and I tested printers through both ports)...
Maybe it's time to give 2.4.x a shot --- are there any stability issues
with the current version?
