O sorry i was under the impression that dmascc cards used the z8530 tools,
after looking thro' dmascc.c i see differently.
Anyway, the file i mentioned could be considered relavant with regards to using
'ifconfig', of which you discuss in the next paragraph.

A a matter of fact, dmascc info is very scarse indeed, as you say no mention in
dmascc.c or .h for that matter, nothing in
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/networking either, and if there is text anywhere i
missed it as well.
