    I would prefer not to make aprsd do repeating between ports as well.
    I think you should run digi_ned or aprsdigi on the same machine to do
    that (which is no problem, since both will share the AX.25 stack).
    aprsd then would send everything from all RF ports on to IP, and
    send IP messages onto the appropriate RF port.

    Actually, working out which is the appropriate RF port might not
    be too hard; aprsd already remembers who it has heard so that it
    doesn't send out messages to stations it hasn't heard on RF.
    It would just have to be extended to track that on a per-port
    basis.

    Does this sound sufficient?
