I have two questions relating to using logical, or virtual, or pseudo
    KISS TNC ports.

First, the dmascc driver creates only a network interface, and it does not
seem possible to associate this interface with an AX.25 port -- if you
try to put "dmascc0" in axports, it barfs, and I see no obvious way to
attach a port to a dmascc device. What I've done to get around this is use
net2kiss to attach dmascc0 to one end of a pty pair, and then kissattach
to associate a KISS axport to the other end. This results in a KISS
interface that applications can talk to, but creates two unused network
devices and seems kludgy. Is there a better way to associate a KISS
    interface to a network device?

Second, I need to create a pipe that allows digi_ned to talk to aprsd-VK3SB.
My first attempt was to again use a pair of ptys and do a kissattach to
each end; then digi_ned uses the axport associated with one end, while
aprsd uses the other end. Another way to do this is to use the kissnetd
device with two pairs of ptys and a kissattach at each end, but that
requires 2 pty pairs to accomplish (seemingly) the same thing as the first
approach. So: (a) is a pty pair with kissattaches at each end an
appropriate way to do this; (b) is kissnetd a better solution; and (c) is
there another way that's better yet?

    Thanks!
