If you do not want to learn about compiling options then you are wasting
your time trying to configure linux
This is publc domain source code you are dealing with, not some precompiled
executable binary that you have paid for along with endless support.
You must undestand that this is the do-it-yourself system. The bricks,
mortar, plans, nails, tools and everything you need is there. You must
however have a few basic building skills.
If you dont know what a string variable is, dont fool around with source
code!!!!
get some books about C, C++, perl etc.
