Howdy, Y'all:
I may have some problems with the 'tools
/usr/ax25# tar -xzvvf ax25-tools-0.0.6.tar.gz renders
INSTALL which contains, in part:
"To make these programs you will need the following:
glibc2.1 (Debian 2.1.1-5 or RedHat glibc-2.1.2-3) ;1
A Modern kernel (2.2.x) ;2
libtool ;3
ax25-lib 0.0.5 or better ;4
zlib" ;5
;1 Now, for glibc2.1, I have: '/usr/doc/glibc-2.1.3'.
Is this sufficient?
;2 I have kernel 2.2.16. I figure that takes care of the second item.
;3 libtool: I installed 'libtool', but it requires 'm4',
so I installed that too.
;4 ax25-lib 0.0.5 or better: Is this dyslexic?
I found libax25-0.0.7.tar.gz Have I got the 'right stuff' ?
;5 For 'zlib' I have:
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17/drivers/net/zlib.c
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17/drivers/net/zlib.h
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17/arch/ppc/coffboot/zlib.c
/usr/src/linux-2.2.17/arch/ppc/coffboot/zlib.
is this sufficient?
Chuck
