Hi Chuck,
Regrettably you need all that to be able to run the xfbb
in kiss mode, since the xfbb doesn't support the kiss protocol directly
and you even need the library of the ax25 utilities for you to be able to
to compile the xfbb
and the library of the ax25 utilities is in its majority for the support of
the kiss protocol
and you necessarily have to install the whole libraries and utilities for
the support
of a TNC in kiss mode.
