Current Linux Node capabilities??

     Hi,

I've been running a Node using ax25-utils-2.1.42a for some time. I'm about
to upgrade to RedHat 7.0 & the AX25 / Node packages from tthe RH7 Powertools
    disk.

When I first got the Node going, I asked if there was a facility for
montoring the retry counts on a particular route (or port) along the lines
    of the BPQ 'RR' command.
I was told that there was nothing like this, but people seemed to agree it
    was a good idea.

Has this facility ever been implemented??

Is it possible to use the same callsign as set for netrom use for user AX25
connects? (ie. netrom WKSOP:G0WTK-3 & users can also make uplink connects to
    G0WTK-3).
I think I tried this with 2.1.42a, and found that a non-netrom connect just
froze up after the initial control frames were exchanged. Did I do something
wrong with the config or was (is?) this not possible,

Is there any option for the Node to control whether the sign-on text is
displayed? (I would like it to display the sign-on when a user connects to
the Alias, but not when they connect to the callsign, as per other Netrom
node software) This would be easy to set up in ax25d if there is such a
    flag.

    Any info appreciated,

    Regards,

    Robert Jenkins, G8TBF / G0WTK.
