    I had a similar problem using the ECG123AP - xmit was inverted. Found in the source code a variable that set the transmit state (forget the details now - it was a year or more ago) and inverted the setting, recompiled the kernel and it worked. I figured I had a strange radio with keying backward. Might be a nice thing to have in a config file - xmit state (transmit on high or low).

    I'll have to try a different transistor in the circuit and see what happens ( I know there is a whole box of 2222's around the shack somewhere.....)
