Hi again Joerg. I have read what you have written to me. I choose also
    to reply
to it via the linux-ham site, and I do not home it 'under' basic level
    the
comments I come with. If so, we can discuss it directly :-)

I'll tell you that I'm a newcommer in linux, but have used scc since
    many years
under DOS. What you write here has means that I do not take care of the
older doc ??.(basicly because I just fix obvious errors and bigger
    changes in the driver).

I have built in the driver into the kernel, but I can easy change that.

There is non ative SCC devices, or better to say physichal the SCC board
    is installed,
but I have not the rc.ax25, and this means that I have not the SCC
    active.

    > - "rmmod scc"

When to do that ?. First I think I shall deactivate scc from the kernel,
and after install it as a module ??.

    > - "modprobe scc"

To see IF scc is active ??.

    Its located in the latter.

    > - "modprobe scc"

    As before ?.

    > - "sccinit"

Nothing happens here, but think its because I lack the rc.ax25 file ?.

    MODEM wiring can
change without a power cycle -- allowing'

Well think I understand, but please tell me it what YOU mean.

    What is procfs ??.

Well ok. I was told by somebody that it was placed where I mention it
    HI.

Anyway I will make it myself. Ok about the site you mentiuon. I have it,
    but
is there am example ??. If not could you help me with an example.

Well aha I have got that tool from the Austrailan site, that has a link
    to where
    you mention.

Hope not too boring what I have written. Sometimes I think people think
    so. If so
a linux-miniminiham would be the right place HI.
