I tried to install ax25-utils-2.1.42a.tar.gz and I got error
messages upon the second make line of file INSTALL.
1st line is
make config
This seemed to run okay. 2nd line:
make
Here is where some error messages were returned. I copied
the error messages and sent them to this mail list and
asked for help. The help offered was to edit some .h files
and the rest of the help offered I did not understand.
Now, I am suspecting that I should be in the root directory,
'/', when I issue the 'tar -xzf ax25-utils-2.1.42a.tar.gz'.
I think that is was in the
/usr/local
directory when I un'tar'ed the *utils* file.
:-|
Perhaps if I had gotten the *utils* INSTALL'ed correctly,
I would not have gotten errors during the 'make's. :-|
