You IIRC'ed correctly. :-) My distribution is slackware-3.9,
kernel 2.0.37pre10. However, you mentioned "Slackware 4.0 or older".
I think Slackware-4.0 is kernel 2.2.x and anything older is 2.0.x.
Is
ftp://sharon.esrac.ele.tue.nl/pub/linux/slakware.40/ham/
still the correct binaries for 2.0.37 ?
Anyway, I'll try it when I get home this afternoon.
