Ciao Toussaint, many thanks you are very kind...well I solved the problem
buying a larger hd (1.2GB) where I installed RH 6.0 and finally using
setserial I have been able to configure my ISA card to irq "7".
So my Jnos now works quite well on my old i486.
Are you a full expert Linux user ?
Do you wish to answer some questions privately so that I avoid to disturb

    Let me know !

    Many Thanks and Take Care.
