Just like nobody ever did, as it seems to me. Everybody who wants to
unsubscribe sends a message regarding this into the list, not to
    gyyv@mariedal.ac .

Also, nobody reads man pages and the like.

By the way, shouldn't we rename this list to something like linux-newbies or
    perhaps

    (everything except) linux-hams?

No ham or packet radio related topic to be discussed here anymore, just only
    RTFM-Questions.
Why don't they ask them at linux-newbies?

Someone always comes up with the stupid sentence: I am a ham, and therefore,
I ask my question, allthoght not ham-related, here so you perhaps could help
    me.
Simply stupid. It was just like I asked a question about my car being out of
order at a medical congress because I happen to be a physician: "It's not
strictly related to medicine, but - we all are physicians so perhaps you
could help me repair my car."

I think I have to do so in the near future, too because of the missing
content. It seems that all of the old "gurus" are gone already.

    Cheers,
