Hello all,I'am looking for a simple to use linux tools
that allows me to strip Carriage Returns (CR) and
Line Feeds (LF) from DOS text files.
I heard about dos2utils and mtools.
The first one unluckily it is not present (seems to me)
onto my current distro (R.H.6.2);
the second one,instead is for me a mistery
and I have not been able to use :
I tried to issue "mtype <dos_filename.txt> <newfilename>"
or "mread <dos_filename.txt> <newfilename>" but nothing.
Could someone suggest a simple tool including the relative
commands ?
Many Thanks,Marco.
