I have recently heard people say how much better Perl is that PHP.
I investigated mod_perl recently for Apache and I was very impressed
with the flexibility. I understand you can embed perl scripts inside
.shtml (server-side includes) files. Very impressive.
Personally, I have done a lot of work with Perl and none with PHP.
So I intend to write my version of the front end in Perl.
Thanks,
Hamish
