Hey Om don't use my IP 44.175.18.2 there
I'm use it here it is my IP range for Dominican Republic
it isn't for Argentina, try a private IP on the Range of
    192.168.0.x or 10.0.0.x

Please don't use my IP it is active on internet OK....

and other hand you not need the ax25-utils-2.1.42a
    just the libax25-0.0.7 ax25-tools-0.0.5 and ax25-apps-0.0.4
the net-tools RH6.0 has it installed

and then this, i think that you need to do something before
like configure you axports and everything involve the ax25 stuff

    73's Jose (hi8gn)
    xzcnubes.vcfp@unco.edu [44.175.18.1]
    http://lnx.hi8gn.ampr.org/ [44.175.18.3]

and the other ip is my notebook with a hanheld
    nos.hi8gn.ampr.org [44.175.18.2]
