Does anyone know if there is a way to set up a FlexNet node with Linux that
other FlexNet nodes can accept as such? At the moment, flexd only downloads
the neighbour's destinations from time to time, but nothing significantly
more happens.
For example, other FlexNet nodes are unable to poll the Linux machine and ask
it for its destinations themselves.
Yes, I know, there are XNet and TNN, but they both rely on KISS TNCs that
have to be _physically_ there. Neither software emulated KISS devices nor
Kernel-AX.25 can be used satisfactorily.
Since we here still need the Kernel-AX.25 (we want to use BayCom and
SoundModem) it seems that these software packages cannot be used.
Cheers
Gerd
