    Can I just point out that although the FX614 is a fine chip (as are all CML
    products) it isn't actually the same as a TCM3105 in that the RX levels need
    to be adjusted much more carefully than that required for the TCM3105 for
    good performance.

    Otherwise it is a good replacement.
