Subject: Port.sys with 56k packet interface ?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
Greetings, Its been many years since I have configured an FBB
application. I am attempting to do so now with LinFBB. I am running RH
6.0 with the 2.2.13 kernel and the latest ax25-util suite. I have the
suite working and am porting the interfaces too Tnos successfully. My
Linux interfaces are thus:
interface speed comport
dmascc0 56000 **** 'No com port, is an actual network
interface'
dmascc1 9600 **** ' Ditto '
ax0 1200 ttyS1 'First port 'A'of a dual TNC (Data
Engine) at 1200bd radio and 9600bd ttyS1'.
ax1 9600 ttyS1 'Second port 'B' of dual TNC (DE) at
9600bd radio and 9600bd ttyS1'.
The 56k baud port is a DSY RF modem that interfaces to the linux kernel
via a PackeTwin card in the DMA mode RS-422. The 9600 baud port is a
standard RS-232 via the same PacComm card. The last two tnc ports are a
dual tnc Data engine with one 1200 and one 9600 radio ports interfaced
via KISS at 9600bd to ttyS1.
I have untarred the 700q_full setup and have compiled the 701f suite and
replaced the associated binaries in the /fbb/bin dir.
When I try to run the xfbb.sh -d & command I am getting a unknown
return number 0.
Could someone give me a clue to configuring the port.sys with this
config ? I also heard that I may have to have LoopBack interfaces as
well ?
Thank you in advance.
73, John
