I am using RedHat6.0 and a SCC card and it works well. You
just have to load the ax25 and scc module and run the sccinit app
that comes with the tar you have. Befor running sccinit, verify the
z8530.conf. It must match the irq/io of your board.
After that, if you isse a ifconfig -a, you should be able to see all
the scc interfaces. If your card has 4 ports, you should see scc0,
scc1, scc2 and scc4. Then just put the interface up like this
ifconfig scc0 44.xx.xx.xx hx ax25 CALLSIGN up.
Now, you must create the axports file, as described in the
AX25-HOWTO and then you will bw able to test the card with the
listen app.
I hope thatīs what you were in need.
