Resize of xterm causes error

When I resize the xterm (by intent or accident),

I get these errors:

Call:
select: Interrupted system call

listen:
recv: Interrupted system call

Is there a fix for this?
I'm running RH 6.0 with the ax25-utils-2.1.42a-3 package.

Also -
Is there a way to be able to use the scroll bar in an xterm to
scroll through the call/listen history output?
