Get the latest version from ftp://ftp.isc.org (I believe, try http://www.=
isc.org)
and compile it yourself --- or use the Debian 2.2 .deb package.

<RANT>
I do not understand why dchp* has to bail out if it finds an unknown inte=
rface
type on an interface that isn't even _active_. It scans /proc/net/dev and=

requests the address encapsulation for _every_ interface found there. Eve=
n if
I explicitly select the device[s] it's supposed to work on. Not that it c=
an do
anything with these devices -- it just demands to know what it is.

That's not only sloppy coding, that's outright blatant.
</RANT>

(ATTN Kai: SuSE 6.1 comes with AX.25, NET/ROM and (I believe) ROSE compil=
ed in, =

but fails to provide a dhcpd 2 client being aware of these protocols. Is =
this
solved in 6.2 yet?)
