Hi,

Now that Slackware 5.2b is out (glibc2.1.1 based) I felt daring and made
some Slackware packages for the new AX.25 libs/tools/apps.
Compiling the AX.25 packages went very smoothly. No errors at all :-)

In case other Slackware/Ham nuts out there would like to have a go with
these, I made them available on
ftp://sharon.esrac.ele.tue.nl/pub/linux/slackware-current/contrib/ham/ax25/

Here you can find;
ax25-apps-0.0.4-cfg.tgz 2 Kb Tue Aug 31 22:26:00 1999
ax25-apps-0.0.4.tgz 70 Kb Tue Aug 31 22:26:00 1999
ax25-tools-0.0.5-cfg.tgz 1 Kb Tue Aug 31 22:05:00 1999
ax25-tools-0.0.5.tgz 185 Kb Tue Aug 31 21:57:00 1999
libax25-0.0.7-cfg.tgz 700 bytes Tue Aug 31 21:14:00 1999
libax25-0.0.7.tgz 124 Kb Tue Aug 31 21:31:00 1999
node-0.3.0-cfg.tgz 4 Kb Tue Aug 31 22:42:00 1999
node-0.3.0.tgz 42 Kb Tue Aug 31 22:41:00 1999

These binary packages can be installed on Slackware with the installpkg
command. I used long filenames this time, because the recent Slackware
pkgtool can handle long filenames OK.

Any feedback on the Slackware packaging is welcome.
