Ok, I now know what went wrong and I just sent a patch to Craig to fix
this (among other things). The trouble is that while the actual fix is
simple (a one liner), Red Hat makes things a bit more complicated by using
a glibc version that is recent but not recent enough... So people will
need to fiddle with the header files if they want compile things them
selves. The other alternative is to wait for the Red Hat people to make
RPMs for the stuff.
