I talked with Byron Hicks this afternoon and he guessed properly
that I had not setup the kernel in Red Hat 6 for Ham Radio. I did cp -a
linux from this system to it, but didn't tell lilo to use the proper 2.2.9
kernel.

Byron's problem with netromd is more basic: It just does not
receive nodes period. I will test it out on this computer tomorrow and see
what I get.
