Karl, I am in the midst of doing just that. After loading RH6.0 on to a
platform, I applied the ax25-utils-2.1.42a-6.i386.rpm (found at ftp.ucsd.edu
/hamradio/packet/tcpip/incoming) and rebuilt the kernel with the desired
amateur radio applications. The RH package had a good section on ax25-utils
located in the /usr/doc directory with interesting examples.
