Soundmodem(2.0.36)+TNT 1.6: duplicate packets received for sm0 and kiss

Hi all,
is there a possibility to switch off ´sm0´network-device while running
soundmodem in kiss-mode
connected via ´kiss´-device to TNT-terminal program
(net2kiss+tfkiss2.7b).
Running TNT, packet-traffic is monitored on tty1 in a ´listen´-style
showing two devices:
sm0 and kiss
So packet-traffic is doubled - a bad choice probably.
By setting "@t2 300" in tnt.up it´s possible to supress the duplicate
output of TNT,
generating a packet-reject and link-reset message instead.
Current setup is operable now, but inelegant.
Any hints to reduce packet-traffic to reasonable values are highly
welcome.
Cheers
Manfred
