To all that answered about my node access question, now I can access
it using /usr/sbin/node after I make an association with my plain
account, as root is not allowed to associate.

I am also telnetting OK to the node via port 4000, it was on the docs
and I had not read it. Is that port 4000 some standard like port 3600
or so for convers ?

Regarding to the login timeout, I believe it has been widely
discussed here, and I have nothing new on this. It is almost
at the end of the file on Slackware 3.3 at CO2JA. I will check
later at CO2BQQ, where I use RedHat 4.2

Thanks to all who replied. Happy New Year !
