I've (finaly) tested this patch (agains 2.1.131-ac4), and it seems all to
work properly, i tested the
txoff parameter (status: OK)
calibrate signal (status: Time works, not the
pattern)
tranmit queue (ifconfig scc0 txqueuelen xx) (status: OK)
not tested the gouping changes, but i asume the are ok

Hopefully the patch would go in before 2.2 :), because i realy like these
changes (i haven't seen much reponse to this patch anyhow)

Can this be monitored somehow ? (just want to be sure it happens also with
a z85230) Or perhaps news from the coders front? (it's some time you wrote
this message)
I saw with 'sccstat scc0' an growing numer of RxErrors when absolutely on
an empty channel with software dcd, is this the result?

Perhaps i can help to find the problem (if it isn't solveble in hardware
only), because the not enough locking problem (which is in the _older_
drivers present i asume) is pretty serious to me.

Argh! All right, so how am I supposed to work with Linux when
everything's already been done?! Can't these people leave some
broken MSDOS like parts so there's problems left to solve!?....
