Installing Linux FBB from scratch ????

I am attempting to run Linux FBB, daemon version. What files do I
need to install from the distribution of Linux FBB ?

If I wanted to run the XWindows version, what do I need ?

I have full distributions (700f) and xdfbb700g18, plus xfbbC. The
daemon is running, ps -a tells me so, but I cannot telnet and my
attemps to run xfbbC are rejected.

Not even test mode helps.

I must be doing something plain wrong, or I may be missing something.

Please consider I am starting from scratch. Maybe it is the only way
to overcome mistakes.

I am installing two BBS's one at home (CO2JA) and another at the
University Radio Club (CO2BQQ). I have been running DOS FBB for four
years. I believe I have done all it takes. I must run the daemon
version at CO2BQQ, I have no XWindows installed. At CO2JA I might run
the XWindows version, XWindows does work OK.

AX25 in the kernel works at CO2JA.

Expecting your advices.
