The Destination BBS is Running BPQ 4.08, DesqView, FBB 5.15c, on 4 x
DRSI Cards.
Our BBS is Running xFBB 700g21, Slackware Linux with 2.0.35 Kernel,
z8530drv 3.0.1 and ax25utils 2.1.42a on a USCC Card.
When the remote BBS connects into us via Net/Rom, Forwarding occurs as
normal, and then when his end disconnects, The Disconnect Acknowledge frame
from our linux node causes his machine to "Lock-Solid". (I noticed from a
listen that the Packet was a Disc Ack: cct 0/0 CHOKE)
Level 2 forwarding from the same direction does not cause this,
Netrom Forwarding initiated from our end does not cause this...
It seems to be not every time, but enough to crash the BPQNode within
6 hours, sometimes within 1.
I know the ideal answer is probably to get the other node to go to Linux,
but he has a large quantity of BPQ neighbours, and until this is fixed will
not even consider it in case he passes the same problem down!
