Karl, there are many versions of ncurses. The ax25-utils package on
ucsd.edu is one that I converted to RPM from the package in the Debian
distribution. Since that uses a different ncurses than Red Hat supplies,
it is not compatible. I also uploaded ncurses3.4-1.9.9g-9.8.i386.rpm
(also converted from Debian) to ftp.ucsd.edu. Try that (hopefully it
won't conflict with anything in your Red Hat system).

Also, there was a message posted here a few days ago about a RPM version
of ax-25 utils which was built on a Red Hat system. That would probably
be preferable.
