Yes and no. If you're looking for RPMS, look at RedHat. If the package
you're looking for is not available in RPM format, roll your own RPM.
Ham Radio packages in many cases by their very nature, may not be
conducive to installation via RPM, since they often require lots of
configuration file editing, etc.
Nothing says you can't download and compile from source on a RH 5.x box.
You just may have to make sure you have backward-compatible libraries
(libc5, etc.) installed.
