I went through my mail and found a message from Jeff that said to
get the proper Ham Radio software for Red Hat you need to ftp to

ftp.redhat.com and go to the pub/home/jbj/ham directory. I
did that and then cd i386 and found only ax25-util...rpm there.

I d/l that version and put it on my Red Hat linux and it and it
installed without a single error. I tested and ax25d -v got the proper
answer.

The bottom line is: Get Red Hat Ham Radio software from
ftp.redhat.com and no where else.
