I think this has been answered but I don't recall the answer. I am
trying to load the latest ax25-utils on my Red Hat 5.1 Linux. I got the
file made for Red Hat from the server ftp.ucsd.edu and it shows an error
when I try to load it with rpm:

rpm -ivh ax25-utils-2.1.42a-6.i386.rpm

and it errored out with

libcncurses.so.3.4 is needed by the package-name.

I checked and as I recalled ncurses IS installed on that computer.

RPM seems to work fine. But it must be some error I made.
