Some confusion rising... The combination es1370/ak4531 can output
for indepentent channels (at the same sampling rate, 44.1kHz), but
it can record only two channels (and if you use 4 output channels
it can only record from the MIC connector as LINE IN is converted
to a second line out). This combination is used on the
Ensoniq AudioPCI, and Ensoniq was bought by Creative.

Now I really start to wonder what the SB PCI 128 really is...
